In this highly collaborative talk, Julie will share stories, ideas, and research from her new book, ONE: How Male Allies Support Women for Gender Equality, with four proven strategies for men and women to succeed together:

• Empathy: How Men Channel the Women They Empathize, and How Women Start the Dialogue with the WIIFM
• Story Sharing: How Men Ask for HERStory, and How Women Share Their Story
• Speaking Up: How Men Speak up with Her, and How Women Speak Up with Him
• Work-Life: How Men Do the Fair Share, and How Women Practice Self-Care

Objectives:

–             Build a plan using proven strategies to engage allies in your diverse and inclusive workplace

–             Collaboratively create and enhance your allyship plan with leaders with unique perspectives and backgrounds

–             Apply tangible tools and techniques to facilitate interactive discussions on allies in your organization
