The trueU Equity and Inclusion Leadership Scholarship grew out of a desire to do more than make a statement in support of equity and inclusion after the murder of George Floyd. Mr. Floyd’s death, and the events and revelations of other murders that followed, spurred conversation, reflection, and a desire to take long-term actions to make our community a more inclusive place for all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or physical or mental handicap.
A qualified candidate demonstrates leadership and commitment to Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. Applicants will reflect the diversity of our city in all forms including geographical, professional, gender, and ethnicity to ensure that the group is enriched with all journeys and walks of life.
You are applying to participate in a Leadership Development Program hosted by trueU. If selected, you will join more than 20 leaders from trueU member companies to learn and grow together in a leadership cohort.
The first scholarship available is for the Leader in Training Program. This program has been hosted by trueU 28 times and provides new and emerging leaders with foundational skills to lead themselves and others more effectively.
