Candidate Qualifications
A qualified candidate demonstrates leadership and commitment to Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. Applicants will reflect the diversity of our city in all forms including geographical, professional, gender, and ethnicity to ensure that the group is enriched with all journeys and walks of life.

The Ideal LIT Candidate

You’ve been a people leader for at least 12 months.
You’ve had some previous leadership development experience.
You want to refine your tactical skills — for yourself and your team.
You want to strengthen your ability to drive results for your department and company.
You want to lead more effectively.
You are a Graduate of our Emerging Leader Program (not required).

Your Leadership Program Overview
You are applying to participate in a Leadership Development Program hosted by trueU. If selected, you will join more than 25 leaders from trueU member companies to learn and grow together in a leadership cohort.
The trueU scholarship is offered for the Leader in Training Program (either the in person cohort or the virtual cohort). This program has been hosted by trueU 28 times and provides leaders with the confidence and competence to set goals, drive results, and lead effectively.
