LIT Class Schedule
Leaders are required to attend all classes
Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis
Contact Marisa right away if you know you will miss a class
Classes will be held from 8:30am – 4:00pm

Class 1: Kickoff and DiSC Management
- Take DiSC Management Assessment

Look for an email from trueU Online Access Code to take your DiSC Assessment.

Check your Spam/Junk folders and reach out to Marisa if you need the email resent.

Bring a printed copy of your results with you to the first day of class.

- Take the LIT Self-Assessment

This Self-Assessment will only be shared with our Program Managers.

Class 2: Adaptive Leadership & Managing Change
1. Complete the SLII Assessment by Thursday, April 3
- A link to take the assessment was emailed to you on March 20, from Samuel G. Thompson – Blanchard Exchange.
- Check your junk/spam folders and reach out to Marisa if you need the link sent again.
2. Read the Switch Book. Check your email for a PDF with the section you signed up for.

Be prepared to “teach back” on your section. You will be given a time with your group to discuss who will be leading discussion around each habit.

Class 5: Inclusive Leadership
- Continue working on your Capstone.
- Begin working on your Individual Reflection Assignment, due Wednesday June 18, 2025.
- Using a Word Doc, write out your answers to the Reflection questions in your binder.
- Then later in the program, click the link below to copy and paste your answers into the online document.

Class 6: Presentation Skills
- Prepare a 3-minute presentation on:
- “Something you think everyone should do once in their life”.
- With 31 leaders in the class, you MUST keep your presentation under 3 minutes!
- You will receive feedback on your presentation
- Use what you’ve learned and apply it to your Capstone Presentation
- Continue working on your Individual Reflection Assignment, due June 18, 2025.
- Continue working on your Capstone Presentation

Class 7: Capstone Presentations
Capstone Information
- Email Marisa if you have additional leaders from your company you’d like to invite to your Capstone and Graduation (Your manager will automatically be invited).
- You will only attend your 2-hour time block that will include your team and one other team.
- Teams will have one hour total to present both Part 1 and Part 2
- Teams scheduled in the same 2-hour time block must select different classes to present on.
- You may use a PowerPoint, but it’s not a requirement.
- Be prepared to respond to questions from the audience.
Capstone Part 1: Your team will answer these question in your Capstone – 30 minutes/Team:
1. What inspired your team to chose this topic of all the content covered in LIT?
2. What were the most important lessons or concepts from this class?
3. What are the benefits of leveraging these concepts and the risks or downsides of not applying the concepts?
4. Provide examples from the real world to demonstrate your answers to #3 – good and not good.
Individual application – each leader individually answers: How will you apply the concepts from this LIT class in your own organization and in your leadership to solve a problem, improve a situation, or positively impact your work environment?
Capstone Part 2: LIT Individua Reflection Presentation – 3 minutes per leader
Share overall perspective about your LIT experience. This is your opportunity to share with your leaders how this investment in you will have a lasting impact. Think about what you have learned, how you have grown, and what you are most grateful for about trueU LIT experience. Consider these prompts as you prepare your reflection:
1. Who I was as a leader before I started the LIT Program…
2. The LIT Program has transformed me by…
3. Which skills or insights from LIT will you commit to apply in your leadership? Give examples of how you will specifically apply these concepts to solve a problem, improve company culture, and be a better leader
Your LIT Reflection Assignment will help you think through the past few months and allow you to share with the audience your thoughts on how LIT has impacted you.
