Kickoff &
DiSC Management
Using the insightful DISC Management Assessment, leaders will:
- Discover their leadership strengths and weaknesses.
- Understand how people in all four DISC quadrants contribute to the overall health of the team and company.
- Gain self-awareness and insights into how they can lead more effectively.
- Understand how to use this powerful information to improve relationships and teamwork within the organization.
Decision Making &
Strategic Thinking
In this two-part class, leader will:
- Explore tools to support effective decision making, and the pitfalls that can derail it.
- Examine parallel thinking and how the Six Hat method can improve team meetings.
- Use strategic thinking to resolve issues within your team or organization.
- Discover a 7-step process that can be implemented quickly to get your team on the same page & focused on solutions.
Adaptive Leadership
& Change
Using the powerful SLII Assessment and the book Switch, leaders will:
- Discover how to adapt their management style to each unique situation so they can meet the needs of their team members.
- Learn how to use specific tools to deal with and lead through change.
- Come away with practical techniques to deliver a positive change message.
Coaching Skills
for Leaders
In this interactive class leaders will:
- Discover their unchanging motivation drivers through the CVI assessment.
- Understand what Coaching is and what Coaching isn’t.
- Participate in peer-to-peer sessions to develop tactical Coaching skills.
- Explore the right questions to ask their employees in order to coach them, instead of solving their issues.
Inclusive
Leadership
In this powerful two-part course, leaders will:
- Gain knowledge of other people’s world view and how that view impacts each of us.
- Discover the value of diversity and creating inclusion with an Outward Mindset.
- Develop an awareness of what bias styles are and how those biases can affect the way we show up at work and impact the team.
Presentation
Skills
Leaders will be given feedback on a short presentation and in the process they will:
- Gain specific skills needed to present and communicate effectively.
- Develop confidence in their presenting and speaking abilities.
- Come away with insights to prepare them for a successful Capstone Presentation.
Capstone Team Presentations
Leaders will participate in a Capstone Team Presentation, a requirement to graduate from LIT. Managers and company leaders will be invited to attend. Team Capstones will showcase one specific LIT class and will highlight:
- The most important concepts from the class.
- The benefits of leveraging the concepts.
- The risks or downsides of not applying these concepts.
- How the leader intends to apply the content to positively impact their work environment.
Graduation
Participants celebrate the completion of this program with their managers and company leaders.
The event is held at Launch Fishers, 12175 Vision Way, Fishers, IN
Invitation to both the Capstone and Graduation will be sent to company leaders about a month before the events.
The Ideal Candidate
- You’ve been a people leader for at least 12 months.
- You’ve had some previous leadership development experience.
- You want to refine your tactical skills — for yourself and your team.
- You want to strengthen your ability to drive results for your department and company.
- You want to lead more effectively.
- You are a Graduate of our Emerging Leader Program (not a requirement).
