LIT Virtual Class Content

Kickoff &
Program Overview

In this half-day class, leaders will:

  • Gain an understanding of program expectations and outcomes.
  • Receive an overview of the LIT Program content.
  • Connect with your fellow program participants.

DISC
Management

Using a DiSC Management Assessment, leaders will:

  • Discover your leadership strengths and weaknesses.
  • Gain more self-awareness and insights.
  • Use this information to improve operations and teamwork within your organization.

LEADING CHANGE &
Decision Making

This two part class will show leaders:

  • How to use specific tools to deal with and lead through change.
  • Techniques to deliver positive change messages.
  • Explore tools to support effective decision making, and the pitfalls that can derail it.
  • Examine parallel thinking and how the Six Hat method can improve team meetings.

Coaching &
STrategic thinking

In this interactive two-part class, leaders learn:

  • What coaching is and is not.
  • Tactical skills in peer-to-peer practice sessions.
  • The right questions to ask to employees to coach, instead of solve, their issues.
  • Use strategic thinking to resolve issues within your team or organization.

Adaptive Leadership

In this powerful course, leaders will:

  • Receive a detailed SLII Assessment
  • Gain an understand of how the SLII Model works.
  • Discover how to use the SLII model to adapt your management style to each unique situation so you can meet the needs of your team members.

leading with Inclusive
& Presentation Skills

In Leading with Inclusion, leaders:

  • Develop an awareness of Inward and Outward Bias and how those can affect the way we show up in the world and ultimately impact you and your organization.

In Presentation Skills, leaders will gain:

  • Specific skills needed to present and communicate more effectively.
  • Insights to prepare for a successful Capstone Presentation.

LIT VIRTUAL CAPSTONES AND GRADUATION

Leaders share the impact of what they've learned and how they plan to apply it with their managers and company representatives. 

The Virtual Graduation Ceremony will follow the last Capstone Presentation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You’ve been a people leader for at least 12 months.
  • You’ve had some previous leadership development experience.
  • You want to refine your tactical skills — for yourself and your team.
  • You want to strengthen your ability to drive results for your department and company.
  • You want to lead more effectively.
  • You are a Graduate of our Emerging Leader Program (not a requirement).
